• Sponsored the South East Development Commission (SEDC) Bill, a landmark legislative effort for regional development in the South-East — passed by the 8th Senate and later the foundation for the Commission's establishment.

• Built classroom blocks in several communities.
• Constructed nurses' quarters at Amaimo.
